Idea Architects is a family practice specialised in creating beautifully crafted architecture and interior architecture. Husband and wife duo Claudia and Luca run the practice alongside a few key long-term collaborators across a studio in London.

About Us

Project briefs are developed closely with the client to ensure the maximum potential of individual schemes can be achieved. We listen very carefully to our clients requirements and their budget, and tailor our projects to suit.

01 Design

From feasibility studies and early-stage sketch schemes to planning applications and detail design.

We developed a systematic process through research, inspiration, design and making, to ensure to deliver a unique character into each project. We use various forms of representation, from hand sketches, full CAD drawings, or computer-generated imagery and renders.

02 Planning

We achieved planning consent on several projects differing in scale and complexity.

We can offer and coordinate planning consultancy services for projects including listed building, permitted development and full planning applications.

03 Tender

Following planning approval, we can offer tailor made detail design services to suit the project and clients needs. These include developing construction drawings, specifications, schedules, bespoke architectural details, and full coordination of other consultant information (such as services and structure design).

Budget planning is critical to the success of any project. We can offer end to end cost consultancy services, including pre-tender estimates, production of Schedule of Works documents, tender appraisals, and on site valuations.

04 Construction

We understand the complexities involved in coordinating and running a project from inception to completion. We can tailor the support provided for clients by offering full project management, including coordinating all consultants, surveys and stages of the project, arranging statutory applications, all the way to co-ordinating delivery and installation of furniture on site.

As contract administrators, we can also advise our clients on different construction contract options depending on project type and scale.
